Alexis Hernandez

“The most interesting thing about being an attorney is learning new things every day and using that knowledge to help clients.”

Mr. Hernandez is an attorney in the Firm’s litigation department and focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and construction defect litigation cases which are routinely contentious, highly-litigated cases from the initial case evaluation through and including final judgment. Additionally, he litigates landlord/tenant matters, construction law, insurance coverage disputes, and government disputes. Mr. Hernandez also works in the Firm’s community association department where he assists our condominium and homeowners’ association clients with enforcing their covenants, drafting amendments to their governing documents, and also acts as general counsel for various association matters. He has successfully represented corporate clients, injured accident victims, construction companies, and condominium and homeowners’ associations.

“Representing both plaintiffs and defendants has allowed me to better understand how each side approaches settlement negotiations and litigation.”

Mr. Hernandez’s greatest professional accomplishment was obtaining a walk-away settlement for a local public university in a construction injury lawsuit where the facts were not in his client’s favor.
