S. Kyla Thomson

“Why did I choose to become an attorney? I’m personally and professionally driven by the need to find a satisfactory and amicable resolution to legal matters.”

Mrs. Thomson drafts opinion letters, amendments and restatements of governing documents, covenant violation and collection demand letters on behalf of community associations. She attends and facilitates community association membership meetings, elections and board meetings, as well as provides general counsel on community association matters to boards of directors and management companies. Mrs. Thomson also manages and supervises a team of paralegals in the Firm’s collections and foreclosure practice.

“My experience growing up in the Philippines has made me realize that there are matters worth advocating and fighting for. Those matters push me to strive to be a better attorney and advocate for my clients.”

Mrs. Thomson considers her greatest professional accomplishment to be the one she fulfills every day: collaborating with a team of professionals for the benefit of the firm’s clients.
